Great food and for a good price! We stayed two nights in Rome and ate here for dinner both times. The food is amazing and filling and not too expensive. It can get busy later into the night but it’s not too bad around 7. Some of the servers are very friendly but some of them don’t speak English and can be impatient.

I am going to miss this restaurant the most from my trip to Italy! San Lorenzo is not touristy but travel to this restaurant. It is worth it. Bring your Google Translate and get to know these good people. Authentic Italian cooking, in a family atmosphere. They close on Sunday and I didn’t want to eat anywhere else. Where do I begin? My husband, Juan and I, went there with my son. We start with the liter of wine for 6 euro! Then order the Suppli, which is a rice ball stuffed with tomatoes and mozzarella. Make your way to the Fried Salted Codfish, the Filetto Di Baccalà! As a Caribbean, this feels like home. The pizza is delicious. The calzones I should have with coffee, they are so perfectly doughy. Finally, the PASTA and the Bistec! OssoBuco and Seafood Pasta dish! The pictures will say it all. I will come back to Rome to come here.- Servizio

In our mission to eat our body weight in pasta our friend took us to this awesome local. The service and food are unpretentious and amazing. We way over ordered but everything we ordered was delicious. The fungi tagliatelle was worth coming back for. Highly recommended.

Jacopo has provide an outstanding service and his passion in sharing knowledge about the Roman cuisine gave us a wonderful experience.
We had 2 pasta, Amatriciana and Pajata. Both Amazing.
A portion of Ossobuco meat and a side of Puntarelle Salad, both for share.
2 large bottle of Ichnusa beer and 2coffe.
Everything delicious.

Spent our first evening in Rome at this restaurant, fantastic food washed down with 0.5l of house red wine, for me the best way to enjoy wine and food. We had pizzas and pasta dishes, all high-quality ingredients. Nice when everyone eating here is Italian from the local area. Also used this as a takeaway later in the week.
